THE ig GAME CENTER

The ig Game Center is a multiplayer game portal—a website that facilitates the real-time playing of abstract strategy board games through the use of a multiplayer game engine.

The ig Game Center is specially designed for full integration into iGoogle, a service offered by Google™ that allows you to personalize your Google homepage with different gadgets that give you at-a-glance access to key information from across the web.  On this self-designed page, you can choose and organize content such as headlines from top news sources, weather forecasts, stock quotes, movie show times, and bookmarks for quick access to your favorite sites.

The ig Game Center is a special gadget that opens a door to the world of multiplayer abstract strategy board games directly from your Google Personalized Homepage.  It should be noted, however, that the implementation of iGoogle is not required for the use of the ig Game Center.

There are currently ninety-eight different games implemented on the ig Game Center site.  Camelot was introduced on November 27, 2008, and Cam on June 14, 2009.  This was the first game portal to offer real-time play of Camelot and Cam.
